Dweeker, this is for you. Since you don't buy the argument that since there is no number between them, their differnce is 0 and hence the same number, try this one (... is used to indicate infinite repitition).
.99999... = .3333... + .666.... = (1/3) + (2/3) = 3/3 = 1
