Hi from MEDC
So I've been in Vegas at Microsoft Mobile and Embedded DevCon for three days now. Other than free booze making this morning living hell, I've been having a blast. WMTF looks awesome, especially with the UIAL and should give me some good tools for test automation.

I actually don't think I can cram anymore knoledge into my noggin right now, so I'm going to go have lunch and try and score some freebes from the booths.

Although I know you're back now, I hope the show was fun! I should have gone to E3 more than once, but it was great while it lasted. Did M$ give you a free Zune? I bet those things are piling up on the shelves at an alarming rate.

I'm sure it wasn't a focus, but I hope you got info for me how to fix my 360 once I get the evil red ring of death. :( And people say Sony's hardware is unreliable.

Unfortunately MS don't encourage development on either of those platforms so while a few were given away I can't help ya :)

We (Intermec) gave 3 Wiis away at our booth which actually got lots of people to stop by. The best part of the booth undoubtedly was the fact that 80% of our visitors asked what makes our units better than a large pda with a barcodescanner? That allowed me to do a few "drop tests" from as high as 10 feet up. Unfortunately some lady was looking for submergible units (ip67) which we don't make (I kindly pointed her to a competitor).

A final note is that while Red Bull + Vodka tastes great, it makes Shawn sicker than a dog the next morning. Actually I don't even remember praying to the porcelain god, but the evidence was there the next morning.
